Effective Date: September 1, 2026
This Policy describes the voluntary commercial limited warranties and paid Extended Warranty plans offered by VoltzToys. These warranties are in addition to, and do not replace or limit, any statutory warranty or other right available under applicable Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial law.
1. Scope and Proof of Purchase
This Policy applies to eligible products purchased directly through the official VoltzToys Canada website at voltztoys.ca or from an official VoltzToys retail location.
To request warranty service, the customer must provide the original VoltzToys order number or original purchase receipt.
The voluntary commercial warranties described in this Policy do not apply to second-hand VoltzToys Ride-On Cars purchased through a second-hand marketplace or another resale channel. For such products, VoltzToys may, where reasonably possible, provide limited technical support and guidance regarding the purchase of compatible replacement parts. This exclusion does not limit any non-waivable statutory right that may apply.
For a shipped order, the applicable warranty period begins on the delivery date recorded by the carrier. For a Local Pickup order, it begins on the date the customer collects the product. For a purchase completed at an official VoltzToys retail location, it begins on the purchase date shown on the receipt.
2. Standard Limited Warranty for Ride-On Cars
All eligible products in the Ride-On Cars category include the following limited warranty at no additional charge.
2.1 Core Electrical Components: 12-Month Limited Warranty
The following components are covered for 12 months:
- main control board and receiver;
- power switches, gear-selection buttons, light buttons, and similar control switches;
- accelerator pedal;
- MP3 control panel;
- remote control, excluding loss, physical damage, water damage, and similar external causes; and
- charger, excluding loss, physical damage, water damage, and similar external causes.
Warranty service is normally provided by supplying the replacement part required to resolve the verified failure. VoltzToys does not provide in-home repair service. In-store repair is available by appointment.
2.2 Motors, Battery, and Other Components: 3-Month Limited Warranty
The following components are covered for 3 months:
- drive motors, steering motors, and their associated gearboxes;
- battery; and
- structural and other components not listed under Section 2.1.
This coverage applies to a verified failure occurring under normal and appropriate use. Warranty service is normally provided by supplying the replacement part required to resolve the verified failure. VoltzToys does not provide in-home repair service. In-store repair is available by appointment.
2.3 Exclusions from the Standard Limited Warranty
The voluntary commercial limited warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or failure caused by:
- overloading, water exposure, rough or abusive use, improper use, unauthorized modification, collision, or impact;
- improper battery maintenance or storage, including battery damage or reduced battery life caused by leaving a battery outdoors or in a discharged condition for an extended period during winter or other storage; or
- scratches, cosmetic deterioration, or damage to the body, plastic components, or other exterior components caused by use, improper handling, or external force.
2.4 Replacement-Part Delivery and Technical Support
For a failure verified by VoltzToys as eligible during the applicable warranty period, VoltzToys will provide the required replacement part and standard delivery at no additional charge within Canadian areas normally serviced by our available carriers. This does not apply to the limited number of remote or unserviceable areas where an available carrier cannot deliver the replacement part.
Replacement-part and repair timing depends on the diagnosis, carrier availability, and current parts inventory. If a required part is not available in local inventory, additional time may be required while the part is replenished from the factory. Where information is available, VoltzToys will provide reasonable progress updates and estimated timing.
VoltzToys provides ongoing product consultation and remote troubleshooting support at no additional charge.
2.5 Ride-On Car Parts Purchased Separately
A Ride-On Car part purchased separately from VoltzToys includes a 3-month limited warranty beginning on the date the part is delivered or collected. This limited warranty applies to a verified failure occurring under normal and appropriate use and remains subject to the exclusions in this Policy.
3. Implementation of the New Policy and Eligible Historical Orders
Effective September 1, 2026, VoltzToys upgraded its previous 3-month voluntary commercial limited warranty to the component-specific coverage described in this Policy. The warranty period for the specified core electrical components listed in Section 2.1 is extended to 12 months.
This upgrade also applies to eligible Ride-On Cars purchased directly through VoltzToys.ca or an official VoltzToys retail location on or after January 1, 2026. All applicable warranty periods continue to run from the original delivery, pickup, or retail purchase date described in Section 1.
For an eligible customer who purchased a 1-Year Extended Warranty or 2-Year Extended Warranty on or after January 1, 2026, the start of the Extended Warranty for each covered component will be adjusted automatically to follow the upgraded standard limited warranty period applicable to that component. The purchased one-year or two-year extension itself is not shortened.
4. Paid Extended Warranty Plans
4.1 Coverage Period
A 1-Year Extended Warranty extends the warranty period for each component listed in Section 4.3 by one additional year after that component’s applicable standard limited warranty period ends.
A 2-Year Extended Warranty extends the warranty period for each component listed in Section 4.3 by two additional years after that component’s applicable standard limited warranty period ends.
The Extended Warranty remains subject to all applicable conditions, exclusions, claim requirements, and service procedures stated in this Policy.
4.2 Plan Pricing
The price of an Extended Warranty is determined using the regular selling price displayed for the applicable Ride-On Car on VoltzToys.ca at the time the Extended Warranty is purchased, before coupons, discount codes, or other temporary promotional discounts are applied. Applicable taxes are not included when determining the product-price tier.
All Extended Warranty prices are stated in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.

4.3 Components Covered by an Extended Warranty
A paid Extended Warranty covers the following components:
- main control board and receiver;
- power switches, gear-selection buttons, light buttons, and similar control switches;
- accelerator pedal;
- MP3 control panel;
- remote control;
- charger;
- drive motor and steering motor; and
- associated gearboxes.
Extended Warranty service is normally provided by supplying the replacement part required to resolve the verified failure. The conditions and exclusions in Section 2.3 also apply to Extended Warranty coverage. In particular, loss, physical damage, water damage, improper use, unauthorized modification, collision, and other excluded external causes are not covered.
4.4 Additional Battery Replacement Benefit
Battery damage caused by improper maintenance or storage is not covered by the standard limited warranty. However, a paid Extended Warranty includes the following additional limited benefit:
- a customer who purchased a 1-Year Extended Warranty may receive a maximum of one eligible battery replacement during the applicable Extended Warranty period; and
- a customer who purchased a 2-Year Extended Warranty may receive a maximum of two eligible battery replacements during the applicable Extended Warranty period.
An approved battery replacement under this benefit is provided at no additional charge, subject to product compatibility, diagnosis, availability, and the delivery conditions in Section 2.4.
This is a limited, usage-counted battery replacement benefit. It does not mean that the battery is otherwise included among the components generally covered by the paid Extended Warranty.
4.5 Quebec Extended Warranty Cancellation Right
Where Quebec law applies, a customer who purchases an Extended Warranty may cancel the Extended Warranty without cost or penalty by providing written notice to VoltzToys within 10 days after entering into the Extended Warranty contract. A written cancellation notice may be sent to help@voltztoys.ca.
Quebec consumers also benefit from applicable legal warranties provided by law. These legal warranties apply independently of the voluntary commercial warranties and paid Extended Warranty plans described in this Policy.
5. Other Product Categories
Products sold by VoltzToys in categories other than Ride-On Cars include a 3-month voluntary commercial limited warranty, including, for example:
- HengLong RC Tanks;
- Mould King building-brick products;
- Remote Control Cars; and
- other product categories that are not part of the Ride-On Cars category.
The applicable 3-month period begins on the delivery, pickup, or retail purchase date described in Section 1. Coverage applies to a verified failure occurring under normal and appropriate use and remains subject to the applicable exclusions in this Policy.
6. How to Request Warranty Service
To request warranty service or obtain additional information, contact VoltzToys Customer Support at help@voltztoys.ca.
Please provide the original order number or purchase receipt, the product name, and a clear description of the issue. VoltzToys may request photographs, videos, a product label or serial number, or reasonable participation in remote troubleshooting before confirming coverage or selecting an appropriate solution.
Submitting a request does not by itself confirm that the issue is covered. Eligibility is determined after the available information and diagnostic results have been reviewed.
7. Statutory Consumer Rights
This Policy does not limit any mandatory right or remedy available to a consumer under applicable Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial law. If any provision of this Policy conflicts with an applicable legal requirement, that legal requirement prevails.
